- The classic games Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver are back!
- The two games return as Virtual Console titles for systems in the Nintendo 3DS family on September 22, 2017.
- One of the first mainstream RPG games to appear on the Game Boy Color, Pokemon Gold Version and Pokemon Silver Version continued to expand the Pokemon universe, adding 100 Pokemon, held items, and real-time events, thanks to an internal game clock.
- These major Pokemon releases take you on a journey through the Johto region, and for the first time, show your Pokemon appearing in glorious color on your Game Boy Color.
- All kinds of creative aspects are to be found in Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver, including genders and items that Pokemon can hold to improve their skills.
- Dozens of Pokemon join the action, including the trio of Legendary Pokemon Raikou, Entei, and Suicune.
- They’re always on the move, so you’ll need to be at the right place at the right time to catch any of them.
- Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver introduce new Pokemon types as well?look out for Steel- and Dark-type Pokemon throughout your travels.
- Pokemon Egg groups expand the ways you can collect Pokemon.
- Leave two compatible Pokemon at the Pokemon Day Care and cross your fingers.
- If you’re lucky, an Egg may appear that will hatch into a new young Pokemon! Only some Pokemon will give you an Egg, and Pokemon are picky about which other Pokemon they get along with, so it will take plenty of experimenting to find a match!
